Daniel moved to Dubai in 2016 and has been writing about the Emirates ever since. He has queued for the Burj Khalifa at sunrise, crossed the creek by abra more times than he can count, and driven every intercity road between Sharjah and Fujairah - usually with a notebook of prices and opening hours on the passenger seat.
